My paranamas to Nandishwara who is prime member of Rudra gana, and who is always in front of the supreme divine lord shiva seeing his lelas and who is the only one who can understand the Shiva tatva completely. When markandaya maha muni went to kailasham and asked Lord shiva and parvathi to tell him about their charithra, the lord said only nandishwara can tell the charithra of the universal father and mother. The markandeya went to nandishwara to listen about the charithra of lord shiva and parvathi. With my namaskarms to the lotus feet of nandhiswara who is the vehicle of shiva and a symbol of dharma I proceed to attempt to write book “ SHIVA LELAMRUTHAM”.

LORD SHIVA

Lord Shiva is the supreme power. He is the power which created the universe. He is the power, which created lord Vishnu, and Bramha.

Lord Shiva is the one who gives and he is the one who takes.  He is the creator and at the same time he is the destroyer. He has been described in the Vedas as agni because he is the destroyer, indra because Shiva is the god of gods , he is Savitr since the entire world is created from him.

He is the friend to all his dities so he is called as mitra, he is the supreme of the universe of the universe so he is called Brihaspathi,.

Lord shiva is a simple god. His appearance and his ornaments indicate his simplicity. If we closely observe all the ornaments of Shiva we can find one common significance, every thing is made up of nature.

Moon, snakes, skull all made up of nature. He is the only power existing at the beginning of the universes when entire thing is immersed under water. So there no one existing in the universe when this power emerges, so how can one make ornaments to him, so when so one is existing. And also he is the creator, he is the destroyer. Every thing comes from him. He is the father of all sciences such as yoga, ayurveda. He is father of all Vedas, shastras, itihasas, Upanishads, puranas.
